SALIM El Ghalbzouri is currently a PhD student at the Communication Systems Department at EURECOM, under the supervision of Professor Adlen Ksentini. His research explores Artificial Intelligence-driven optimization for 6G networks, with a particular focus on Novel RAN resource management procedures in 6G. His work integrates advanced concepts such as Open-RAN and the use of Digital Twins to transform wireless communication systems.
In 2024, Salim earned his MSc in Engineering from the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT) in Morocco, graduating with a GPA equivalent to 3.5/4.0. During his master’s thesis at EURECOM, he developed an innovative framework titled "Neural-Driven Control of RIS in 6G Networks: A GoSimRIS and xApp-Based Framework," which set a new benchmark in optimizing Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS).
Prior to this, Salim obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in 2021 after completing preparatory classes (MP – Mathematics and Physics) in Morocco from 2019 to 2021.
Salim’s expertise lies at the crossroads of AI, software engineering, and next-generation wireless systems, enabling him to make meaningful contributions to advancing communication technologies.
